DESCRIPTION:Join the Library for our Autumn Concert Series on Fridays from September 3 to October 21. Each concert will begin at 1 pm in the Winn Room. Doors will open 15 minutes prior to the performance. This week’s series will feature flutist and saxophonist Adrienne Nims. \n\nAdrienne Nims is a flutist and saxophonist whose passionate energy is well acclaimed. Though her early formal training focused on classical music\, she quickly developed a deep interest in jazz and world music. In addition to piano and flute\, by age 13 she was also playing the saxophone and performing professionally in big bands and classical ensembles. Adrienne’s group\, Sprit Wind\, has performed at venues such as the Getty Museum of Los Angeles\, California Center for the Arts\, the San Diego Zoo\, and major jazz festivals and classical music series. In her professional career\, Adrienne has opened for Spyro Gyra\, Kirk Whalum\, Joe Cocker\, Fourplay\, Don MacLean\, Boz Scraggs\, Steppenwolf\, and more. She is an accomplished studio musician with credits on over 50 CDs including her own\, and television soundtracks as well. In addition to her work as a performing and recording artist\, Adrienne is also an educator teaching flute and saxophone as well as a masterclass presenter for institutes and foundations. \n

Discounts are available for seniors (66+) and veterans. Half-price tickets are available for youth (ages 5 to 17)\, young adults (18 to 34) and active duty military. \nShowings are Wednesday\, Thursday and Friday at 7pm; Saturday at 4pm and 8pm; Sunday at 2pm. \nLamb’s Players Theatre operates under the Health Protocol set by Actors Equity\, the union of theatre performers. To help ensure safety and well-being in the current pandemic environment\, all our theatre staff\, cast and crew members are fully vaccinated. All our Usher Teams are required to be fully vaccinated as well. Currently all audience members ages five and above are required to have proof of full vaccination with 1) a physical COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card issued at the time of vaccination\, or 2) a photograph of the patron’s Vaccination Record Card\, or 3) a digital vaccination record.
