The City of Coronado and EDCO sponsored a free shredding event in early January that was so successful, the EDCO contractor conducting the shredding had to stop accepting items when the truck filled up. Another shredding and electronic waste recycling event has been set up for Feb. 27 from 8 am to 1 pm at north City Hall parking lot, 1825 Strand Way.

Shredding is limited to two bankers boxes (10″x12″x15″) per household.

Unwanted electronics will be collected including TVs, computer monitors, printers, fax machines, VCRs, DVD players, cell phones and answering machines. No other household hazardous waste material will be accepted.
