Annual Wounded Warrior BBQ and Wheelchair Basketball Event at Loews Coronado Bay Resort – May 18

Fun for the entire family on Saturday, May 18

Join the Old Goats and “Kids Who Care” (Young Goats ages 5-12 from Coronado Schools) at a BBQ and wounded warrior wheelchair basketball game hosted by Loews Coronado Bay Resort in conjunction with its Good Neighbor program.

The wounded warrior NMCSD Wolfpack wheelchair basketball team will take on the Loews Good Neighbor team and team Coronado (led by Mayor Richard Bailey) in two separate games of wheelchair basketball. Former mayor Casey Tanaka and former councilman Mike Woiwode will referee and councilmember Bill Sandke will provide live action commentary. The entire family is invited to enjoy the games and the delicious BBQ prepared by the Loews Coronado Bay Resort culinary team.
