Easy Day Sports to Host “Base to Base 5K” at 92118 Day

Coronado’s Easy Day Sports is hosting a “fun run” on 9-21-18 to celebrate 92118 Day.  The 5K run will start from Central Beach, to the Naval Amphibious Base (line in the sand) to the barrier in the sand at Naval Air Station North Island and then back to Central Beach (see map below).

You can register online or on the day of the event.  The race will start promptly at 4pm.  The event is free, but for an additional $10, receive a 92118 commemorative coin. Register online or get more details here.

About Easy Day Sports:

Easy Day Sports is a boutique event production company that was in founded in Coronado in 2014. In addition to producing the annual Crown City Classic run in Coronado on the 4th of JulyEasy Day Sports is also putting on the Aztec for Life 5K for SDSU one day after 92118 day on 9/22.

One of the largest local events they produce, The Kaiser Permanente Thrive Half-Marathon, is November 4th and runs from Kearny Mesa to Mission Bay in San Diego.

Nationally, Easy Day Sports is producing NFL fan running events for the New Orleans Saints (9/9) and the San Francisco 49ers (11/20) this fall. In 2018, Easy Day Sports has also been an event subcontractor for national events with Nike and Facebook.
