Loews Hotels Offer Outdoor Yoga at California Properties

San Diego (August 2016) – With a finger on the pulse of the yoga trend, Loews Hotels in California are offering outdoor yoga classes to guests and locals alike to enjoy while taking in spectacular iconic views at Loews Coronado Bay ResortLoews Hollywood Hotel, Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel, and Loews Regency San Francisco.

According to 2016 findings from the nonprofit organization Yoga Alliance, 36.7 million Americans or 15% of U.S. adults actively practice yoga – a huge jump from 20.4 million in 2012. Meanwhile, 81% of yoga practitioners have done their Downward-Facing Dog and Warrior Poses outside of the studio in the last 12 months.

Loews Hotels, a long-time advocate for healthy travel, is encouraging guests to shake loose from the studio, fill their lungs with fresh air, and see how engrossing outdoor yoga can be at the brand’s iconic west coast properties. Outdoor yoga offerings include:

  • Dock Yoga at Loews Coronado Bay Resort – Drink in the sparkling beauty of Coronado Bay, San Diego and the Pacific beyond with Dock Yoga. Designed to relax with a flow of movements, breathing exercises and light meditation, sessions encourage physical, mental and spiritual connections within the eye-catching setting of the resort Marina. Dock Yoga offered at 8am every Tuesday and Thursday at Loews Coronado Bay Resort; complimentary for hotel guests, $10 for visitors.
